What volunteers do

7:35 AM – 8:05 AM. Valet runs in all weather.

Before drop-off

Arrive by 7:35 AM.
The vests and cones are in a wagon by the front door.
Set the cones out to make a lane between 12th Street and the speed limit sign by the school entrance.
The “Safety Valet Enter Here” sign goes at the end of the block.
The “Stop and Drop Here” sign goes under the speed limit sign.

During drop-off

Open car doors and help children out.
Little ones may need a hand with their carseat buckles.
Some may want you to walk them to the gate.

Packing up

Pack up around 8:05 AM, or once the traffic has slowed.
Put the vests and cones back in the wagon and bring it inside.
The wagon parks just inside the door, on the right of the foyer.
